Login across Maemo.org?
 

I've been able to post in the Talk.maemo.org, but I wanted to post in the comments of a program under Downloads.

Apperently I'm not logged in there. I created an account under garage.maemo.org, but that doesn't seem to give me access to post under the Downloads section.

Is this supposed to be this confusing?

I think each section of maemo.org is on a different server so you'll have to see them each as different websites

I think that there's a work in progress to have single-sign-on across all (most?) maemo.org servers...

I can neither log into, or register for "Garage" or "Bugzilla" using the ID I have in "Talk." Will this be fixed in the future?

i cant login to downloads
i created an account to garage but it does nt work in downloads section

This still bothers me. Yesterday I was reading posts in Talk, then wanted to comment on a program in Download. These are different logins.

I try to use the same ID and Password across the site, but even so, it took me nearly 5 minutes to log in, trying combinations and permutations of IDs and Capitalization. I nearly gave up.

This is known as SSO single-sign-on and is a known issue and ppl are working on it! There is a bug open at the bugtracker and many threads in TMO so please feel free to search for it for further information on the process.

you need to sign up for talk, garage and bugtracker that's all!
the talk account is just for talk and the garage account is for all the rest but bugtracker (afaik). the garage account transfer to wiki and download and so on does take a while. So please be patient with the sites to update your user data.
