Windows 98 running on N900

Just did a search of the forums and i'm amazed that noone else has posted this -
http://zomgitscj.com/keepin-it-oldsc...he-nokia-n900/

Can anyone either post a better translation of the Russian instructions, or figure out how it's done independantly?
I have a .iso of Windows 98 I can use.. really want to get this running for bragging rights.

There's a good guide on here for running windows 95. I'd imagine the process is almost exactly the same - make sure its a bootable win98 image and not an install one. it will be sloooow though!

EDIT: Try this:

Just tried that, doesn't seem to work with an .iso, only a .img.
Is there a way of making it mount .isos? Or is it possible to find a .img of Windows 98?

I really can't resists posting this: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=.iso+to+.img - but because I'm not actually that obnoxious, I think WinISO should be able to convert the image you already have.

If you have a win98 disc, any iso ripper (isobuster, winiso etc) should be able to dump it as a .img although the same programmes should be able to convert them too.

Alternatively, there may be a ready-boot .img somewhere out there on the www that I won't be allowed to direct you to here due to copyright reasons, but I think you'd be able to find it easily enough.

The guys on the win95 thread might be of more help than me as they've already tried playing with win98...

Good luck!
