Touch screen uncalibrated - how to access control panel?
 

My touch screen is badly uncalibrated. I tried to calibrate it a few times but didn't have any luck. Removing the screen protector fixed it this morning but now I am back to the "tap closer to the number" message, mainly on 1 and 3.

Now I have rebooted and can't access the main menu sidebar. It seems to think I am tapping about 1cm to the right. It there a keyboard shortcut to get into the menus?

You can launch control panel manually from the terminal - if you can then click calibrate you should be in luck.

To start x-term press Ctrl-Shift-x
