[Repository down] Extra-devel doesn't work half of the time
 

Hello guys,

I've got a question: Why is extras-devil down all the time?
Every second day about my n900 tells me that not all catalogues could be updated. When looking what's wrong there, it's always extras-devil, sometimes even extras-testing. What's up there?

Any explanations?

Do you consistently spell it "devil" as a joke... or do you really have that in your N900 instead of "devel"?

I love the name "extra-devil".. much more descriptive than extras-devel :D

hi Jebba...

i tried these mirrors n they seem to be giving me the same error message as the original maemo extras repository.

i get a message sayin "unknown date format"

any idea why this is happenin?

Extras-devel has been down more than usual lately. I don't know why.

How many access points do you have defined?

I had 'O2 mobile' and 'O2 MMS' defined - but by default for some strange reason my n900 would always connect to O2 MMS for internet access - and then extras-devel would not work.

Delete the extra access point - or connect manually to the proper access point for the internet.
