A bug puts the N900 in "portrait mode"
OK I have just installed Orrery and now when I exit I have Portrait mode!
I can switch back by locking the phone and unlocking or using the phone app. Weird. |
Re: Orrery now have Portrait mode lol
Awesome!
Going to install this app and try out now :D Edit: Didn't work over here... it returns to normal mode when I exit the app.. |
Re: Orrery now have Portrait mode lol
Braek was already known for allowing the same to happen.

Re: A bug puts the N900 in "portrait mode"
yes - Orrery does the same. Even when you switch it off it reverts back to Portrait mode - its not usable tho as half the portrait screen is missing.
Hasnt Orrery been tested and made live? |

Re: A bug puts the N900 in "portrait mode"
I've unintentionally gotten the UI into portrait mode this way:
make a call in Portrait mode, when the call ends don't close the phone app, just click the minimize icon in the top left-voila!, portrait mode on the desktop. Problem is, the UI is stuck this way, and it's not pretty. To exit, press the power key, select "lock screen and keys", then press the power key again, and swipe to unlock while holding the N900 horizontally. |
