Shared Folders - where the folder listed in file sytem?
 

HI

I can use File Manager to browse to to a network share. Is this folder mounted anywhere on the local filesystem when you make the connection?

i don't know on what the filemanager is based but you could look at /media/ for mounted devices.
you can open x-term and type "mount". this should output a list of all mounted devices and their mountpoints.

if it's nautilus-like the share won't show up anywhere in your filesystem automatically.

Using avahi, network shares show up automatically in the file browser on my n8x0 tablets.
I either haven't been able to get avahi installed correctly on my n900, or the filemanager doesn't recognize the shares. (avahi also makes bluetooth devices show up in the filemanager)

Only mmc card is in media. Output of mount is:
