Camera just won't take pictures sometimes!
 

I'm having an intermittent problem and wondering if anyone else shares it (this happened before and after the upgrade).

Sometimes when I try to take a picture and hold the camera button a little, it just won't focus and therefore when i press it properly it just doesn't take a picture!

I used to have to reboot to get it working again, but i've realised if i press the tiny square button on top, then cancel out of that menu, it fixes the problem and i can take the photo.

I don't know how many moving pictures i've missed when this occurs. Its very bloody annoying at times!

Anyone else share this?

Which exact Maemo5 software version is this about?

version should be the latest: Maeomo 5, V 2.2009.51-1.203.2 according to the settings.

any thoughts would be welcome

maybe you are in video mode?

Happened to me today for the first time - there was an error message something like "Error taking the picture" and it didn't take the picture. Worked fine after that... So far only happened once - very intermittent.
