Stylus makes scratches

HI,

I`ve used my stylus which came with N900 but now I have scratches at my screen. Usually I don`t use my stylus only when it comes to small scroll bars etc. Anyone have the same problem?

Is there a way to remove small and not deep surface scratches from the screen?

Rgds,

I also used the stylus but I don't have any scratches. You must be pushing really hard. Now I have a screen protector so I use my finger 99% of the time.

Either you're using your stylus like a icepick on your screen, or then the scratches have come from somewhere else.

I had stylus scratch-problems with 5800XM and N97. With N900 I decided to buy a screen protector without even touching the screen once with the stylus :)

Small particles on screen + stylus = possible scratches.

Workaround:
- Buy screen protector or wipe that thing before use.

the stylus does scratch the screen it has happend to me on the 5800 and the n97 too , they are only soft top layer that will scratch quite easily

all t takes is a bit of dust on the screen and the stylus to catch it

screen protector will stop the worry and even cover up the little ones you have

you dont have to push hard to get scratches even the most carefull user can get them under normal use

Actually I always keep my N900 inside its pouch when not using it as I am very scared to make scratches on the screen and I`m not pushing too hard. Still it is not deep scratches and I have to turn the device into a certain position of light to make the scratches visible but even small an maybe insignificant scratches makes me sad.

I haven't got any scratches, and I have no cover. I keep my N900 in my right jeans pocket, but keep nothing in there with it. I also keep my screen wiper in my backpocket always, and if the screen is dirty I'll wipe it.

With proper use a normal user should never get scratches from the stylus.
[nerd]It's like a normal knife doesn't do anything to superman. You can stabstabstab, and nothing. Dip it in kryptonite, and it'll pierce :| [/nerd]
