Remote view of phone
 

can somebody explain to me what happened here:

3 devices. desktop, laptop, N900

1) on the N900 I connect to the desktop via ssh.
2) I type "vino-preferences" and enable remote desktop.
3) On the laptop I use VNC to connect to the desktop that I just remotely enabled VNC on.

I get a remote image of my phone. it was showing my phone on the laptop, maemo on my laptop.

I didn't expect that to happen. I didn't even know this was possible, I thought I would get my desktop display. why didn't I?
