If you are in the phone app and select "Select Contact" you have a very convenient quick link bar on the right, ABC, DEF, and so on

Yes absolutely.

The quick filter on the side is incredibly convenient for those times when you don't want to open the keyboard (FYI typing some letters will automatically begin to filter the contact list, which is ALSO a nice feature.. but both would be much better).

The omission is especially odd given how much room there is when the contact list is viewed in landscape..

Ok, i voted :)

I hadn't realized you can't edit contact info from within the phone app via long-press, but that's certainly a bit of consistency that should be added as well.

Who changes the tilte to [Under consideration] I tried it myself. it shows in edit mode but not on the board.
