touchscreen in pannable area in pymaemo in n900
 

hi ive made a simple code that displays texts from a txt file into a panable area using TextView , the code works fine, but i would like to know if its possible to select words with the touchscreen insdidde the pannable area? i just read the http://wiki.maemo.org/PyMaemo/UI_tutorial/Navigation but it mentions nothing about it.

I would like to click to times in a word with the touch screen ( in the panable area) in order to select it, it that possible? how can i make handle taps (the equivalent of "mouse clicks" on the device) inside a pannable area?
