Parrot AR.Drone dev guide & other docs

http://ardrone.parrot.com/parrot-ar-...ev/developers/

Documentation isn't complete yet but it looks like everything needed to communicate with the UAV is going to be completely open so it should be possible to make a control app for the N900!

I hope they can settle on a single open format for add-on games.

Not much, but you should keep in mind these things are very fragile and could easily be taken down by any projectiles :D

Update: An Android client has been demonstrated:

http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/05...overage-day-1/

I don't know if Android on the N900 supports the accelerometers and WiFi, but if so it should work!

Also they ran into a bug in the demonstration I hope gets fixed before the release: it pinned itself to the ceiling. In an outdoor environment that would mean climbing until the batteries run out

Launch date and pricing info should be available soon:

A Linux ARdrone client is now available to ARdrone developers! It works with production ARdrones, not prototypes. It should be possible to compile this as-is under Easy Debian.
