Compiling on Device? (N900)
Hello friends,
I am new to Linux (but not new to IT), I would like to understand if its possible to compile Linux programs directly on the N900? I have searched and found a thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=35525) which says a install of Scratchbox on a real machine (x86, for instance) is required. My goal is simple: To compile from source a program called TcpXtract ("tcpxtract-1.0.1.tar.gz") to run on the N900. Info on TcpXtract is available at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=45071 Please give me your thoughts, thanks! |
