n810 unlock device idea
 

Hello everyone,

After reading a post about a n900 modification to allows the screen to be unlock with a single power press, i was thinking if the n810 can be hack so that instead of needing a numeric code to unlock the device, a presave screen symbol like an X, check mark, ∑, or any symbol that i can trace on the screen can be use in combination with another action like covering the light sensor to do the unlocking. This way unlocking the device is a lot faster and easy to remember.

If you don't have a power on password set, you can unlock an n810 by sliding open the keyboard. My lock/unlock slider stopped working about 6 months ago, so that's now the only method I have to unlock it.
