GPS/SMS in command line
 

Hello guys,

Is it possible to use GPS and SMS in command line?

I would like to collect GPS coord. and send via SMS to be used in case of lost/theft of N900.

I just want to prevent situations like this:

Sure. If you are a Python programmer you could start at
http://wiki.maemo.org/PyMaemo/Using_Location_API
and add the SMS stuff.

Ok... GPS I see that is possible.

But do you know how to send SMS via command line?

Is it possible to take a picture from the front cam using command line and capture events like 'change simcard' ?

Hello,

Unfortunately no... :( I'm developing a security tool. I need a way to allow the user send a command and device take a picture from the front camera to send this picture back to user.

This will help to identify the thief in case of theft... :D

Maybe... I already contacted pavan before...

But to help, I need to understand first all resources available... I'm discovering how to perform some actions, like take a picture from front camera, access GPS data, detect Sim Card changes, intercept SMS messages, etc.
