built-in browser no longer keeping logins between sessions?

Has anyone else noticed a change recently with the N900's browser (microB) in that it will not keep you logged in to sites that persist login? For example, with Facebook and Twitter, I would log in, tick the box that says "remember me" or "keep me logged in", use the site, and close the browser. Later, I would open the browser and visit the same site and I would be logged in already.

For some reason it's not doing that anymore. Even asking the site to remember me still causes the log in page to appear when I revisit it later. Could this be a change in PR1.1.1? I don't recall the exact point in time at which logging in no longer worked across browser sessions, but it strikes me as fairly recent.

Mine works with this site so maybe something to do with the cookies?

mine has stopped working on Facebook.

Have you by any chance switched to Facebook Lite?

Yes, mine quit remembering logins after the latest update. The browser fills in user/password for sites that I have permitted to store the info, but I have to go to the login screen for all sites that previously kept me logged in.

I was using Facebook Lite prior to Facebook's redesign. For some reason, trying to log into Facebook Lite now just keeps sending me back to the login page despite using correct credentials, so I'm using the full FB. After their redesign, it seems to work quite well on the N900 (better than the old FB design).
