Text-2-Speech application?
 

can anyone out there write an application for Text-2-Speech on N900? it would be really handy when driving or something. I really hope it is possible to implementing it on N900 though, the software is already on N-series and E-series before.


Does anyone out there wanting this like i do?

espeak. already in the repo. Just integrate it, wrap it with some scripts to pull from the sqlite dB and you're done-zo.

Would be good to have something like Speech-2-Text like the one on Google Nexus one. that seems to be one of the best Speech-2-Text system i have seen for a bit.

I would love to see a speech to text application too! However a simpler text to speech application will be an asset too...

is there a program for N900 that enables the phone to speak the contact's name when he/she calls? It's convenient as it allows me to know who's calling without looking at the phone.
