Live TV on the N900?

Does anybody know how Live TV (the kind that does not involve going to a television channel's website for a video stream) works on the N900?

My N96 used to be able to scan the airwaves and find TV channels for me to watch through its media center, but I cannot find that same functionality on the N900. Does it simply not exist, does it require some special app, or is there anything in the next firmware update in regards to this issue?

there is no dvb-h receiver on n900 as quipper mentions, to tell the truth i'm happy there is not as it pushed price of n96 up yet hardly anyone could use the feature b/c only few countries broadcast dvb-h as it never went mainstream like the whole industry predicted.

Not yet, but things are looking promising with usb host mode. The problem is finding a dvb tuner that requires a low enough power consumption.

Then obviously creating/modding drivers will be the next hurdle.

In short, not impossible but very tricky
