Web-based notes with sync?
 

Is there anything out there for simple text note writing that has local sync to the device for offline use, and also exists as a web site?

Evernote seems to require access to the site to work. Nuevasync has toodledo sync, but that's not really designed for note taking.

I can't find anything else.

Not that I know of.

I think that Conboy is planning something similar.

Conboy seems to be almost there, but the web application to go with it isn't (the only one that's up at all is UbuntuOne, and their notes app is *painfully* bad).

Is there anything else even close enough to be worth offering to help with the code?
