URGENT question about N800 charger 120v/220v
I'm selling this and we need to know, since this has the North American 120v charger, if using a 220v charger or converter will work no problems? I looked on the back beneath battery door and see no useful info... made in Korea.
The charger itself says: "Input AC 100 - 240v" |

I bought a N800 in the US, its charger says that the input is 100~240V. I am from Peru, and had no problem here (220V)

Inside adapter is an electronic power switching source who can handle all range of input voltages, even DC ( continuous) up to 240V * sqr(2) = 340 V DC :D so no worry |

Re: URGENT question about N800 charger 120v/220v
I took my US Nokia AC adapter (110 V) and used in HK (220 V) for my N800, it worked and charged, but the adapter got warm, NOT hot, just warm and much warmmer than I used the same thing in US.
No apparant damage after 3 wk use. The thing still works fine today. bun |
