Assigning photos to contacts
 

Hi Guys,

Can anyone please guide me how to assign a photo stored on the memory card to a contact.
I can view pictures, video and hear audio on the n900 from the memory card used in my e90 communicator
but when i try to assign a photo to a contact (click on browse) it only comes up with the pictures taken with the n900.Do the photos have to be in the RAM?

After the 90 MB update the phone has a lag of abt 2 seconds when rotating the phone to switch to portrait mode. Is anyone else having this issue?

You've edited the contact and clicked on the picture to assign a new image, then selected the "Browse" button to view the photos? You should then be able to browse anywhere - it starts with the photos from the phone, but you can tap on the up arrow to go up a directory.
