Calendar enhancements
 

Hi,

I've been looking all over the place and can't find what I'm looking for, maybe just used the wrong terms, who knows? Anyway..

I've like set the default view of the calendar to the actual calendar rather than the list of events for that day, is that possible?

Also, I work weird shifts and would like to create a recurring event that copes with my 6 on/4 off shift pattern (all shifts are different hours as well). Is this possible? Is it possible to create a new event type in the API somewhere? If so, can someone point me to the right place?

You can find my widget "datetoday-home-widget" in
extras-devel
It shows the current day of month, can open the calendar and you can configure which calendar view to open (month, week, agenda).

It's great. I've placed so that it covers the calendar icon of the calendar widget. This way it's possible to quickly access both the agenda and the week/month views. Great job on the Datetoday widget!
