why new OVI suite doesn't support N900?

i installed OVI suite (old name is Nokia PC suite) but it said "sorry, ovi suite currently doesn't support your device"..
so what kind of suite can I use??

I use Windows 7 64bit.
Nokia has a large number of softwares which cannot be installed on windows 7.

PC Suite and OVI Suite is two different things. Get PC Suite, it works perfectly.

Which version and with what OS? It does not work perfectly with either Windows XP x64 or Windows 7 x64 that I'm currently running..

True some features work in XP (it just completely does not work in 7..), but it's far from being perfect...

Try search this forum, instead of creating new threads... the new maploader supports N900, that's good news.

This is what i've listed:

Works perfect on Windows 7 Ultimate X64, which I'm currently running. The Maps Loader won't work though.

Nokia will slowly start replacing PC Suite with Ovi Suite.

Even if you Check for Updates within PC Suite Update manager you will get Ovi Suite 2.1 as the next release.

N900 is currently not supported by Ovi Suite so if you really need a PC software stick with the Nokia PC Suite for now.

Support for N900 on Ovi Suite should be coming soon.
