My music player starts when I hang up !!
 

Hey people,

Well just as the title says, I have this really weird problem of my Nokia n900's music player automatically starting after I hang up... and it's been really embarrassing in some situations...

This has been happening since around the time I updated the Maemo OS, so I'm guessing it's related to that.

Has this happened to anyone else ?

Is there any way I can delve into the programming of the OS, and see what is going on in the code ? (new to mobile dev...)

something like this happened to me. when the phone should be ringing it started to play music instead.

Same! I've been having this problem. In fact, after a freed up a lot of space in rootfs, this have been different and buggy :(

I had this happen to me a few times as well. I figured it might have something to do with the media player desktop widget as once I removed that from the desktop, it stopped happening to me.

Not sure if it was just a coincidence though?

yes its a bug in the media player widget..it has been fixed and will b given to us in the next update..i will give you the bug number as soon as i find it..meanwhile you can stop using the media player widget and it will be fine..i used to have the same problem too..stopped using the media player widget n all has been fine since

cool. hope it also fixes it randomly playing in my pocket with screen lock on too.
