Front camera ever going to be usable?
 

it would actually be useful when you want to take shots with friends/family without someone holding the tablet for you

Install the "Mirror" app and you'll see that what you propose is not really a good idea. The front camera quality is very poor.

I dont think the front facing camera has the quality that most people would want in pictures, but it is usable. There are a few apps in the maemo repos that use it (i think one is a mirror app). And you can use the front facing camera to make video calls using google talk.

There also my game for the front camera (see signature). :)
But you really wouldn't want to use that camera for photos. Even if the image quality was better the resolution of 0.3 megapixels is too low for photos.
