I have seen so many post saying Ovi maps cannot save bookmarks etc, I have answered at least 5 posts myself in the last 2 wks of similar subjects, ...

Right lower corner arrow>Places>any business (for e.g. pizza city state) and click the icon i > return to your map. You just created a POI/landmark of that place, it stays even if you close and reopen Ovi maps

Yes, works only with business with the icon 'i'.

To create a landmark of your home address?
1) use the above method ONLY if you home address is a business
2) find any business, restaurant or anything next to your home, and mark it. DUH, you just created a landmark for your home address

Pic posted: click the blue icon will create a POI/landmark that Ovi maps will remember for the next time.

Watch: I have yet to figure out how to delete them, so, dont create too much till you find a way to remove them. Yike!

Who said Ovi maps is useless.

You can add an address in contacts. my problem is how to get a route from current location to that one in the address book?

edit: managed to work it out d'oh !
