remove boot logo
Hi.
First time posting here and i searched the forum for my problem :) Is there a way to remove the bootup screens to see whats really hapening when the device boots? :) Thank you :) |
Re: remove boot logo
haven't heard of such an option.
it's possible to change the bootvideos. but even the white-blue nokie bootscreen can't be changed. so i don't think it's possible to have a look at the bootup lines :/ |
Re: remove boot logo
This can be done if you compile your own kernel with console framebuffer support,
but the boot message is so fast and the characters so little that there is not much to see. To see the boot message lines open the terminal and type dmesg or dmesg | more |
Re: remove boot logo
It's possible and I already asked this on the forums. You can install a custom kernel to enable it but it's VERY unstable, sometimes causing the device to keep rebooting at startup and the only way to fix it is to slide the keyboard at one point during boot up
