status volume slider not working on n900
 

hello..here is my problem:
i press on time to see the clock/alarms,profile switch, wifi..and the volume slider to reduce/increase the ringing volume. it does not work in any way...anyone that his volume slider works or not working?
i just wanna know if i have to flash my device..although i havent installed any extra devel stuff..:(

Maybe I can help...

The phone ringer volume cannot be accessed via the top status menu

To change your ringer volume, you need to go to Settings/Profiles.

So what is that slider at the status menu? It's for multimedia and internet volume control!!!!

I know the programmers for N900 suck....

ah..thanks a lot man...i was sure that this bar was for the ringing volume..thanks for clarifying that..
