Can we have a 'Rumors' section on Talk?
 

I see a lot of threads that are nothing more than rumors. Some examples:

- Yes/No on Meego for the N900
- Release dates of firmware updates
- Contents of firmware updates
- New devices
- Release dates of software

These threads create the FUD that Gil mentioned.

I would like to have a 'Rumors' section on Talk and have all these threads moved to that.

It works perfectly on a Canon forum (photography on the net) i'm a member. I would like to have the same here.

Anyone with me on that?

+1, that would be a great way to segregate the FUD and noise so those who don't care for it can avoid it.

I'd reckon there are more (disruptive) Rants than Rumor threads atm...

But if those rants are based on rumors (like the rants on Meego not running on N900), they can be moved to the rumors thread too (imho).

Identifying and segregating the chaos would, I think, be extremely helpful. Something like this has been proposed numerous times; hope it makes it into MeeGo forum.
