Lately when I pick up the phone in the morning to switch off the alarm, I find that the calendar has launched, and is open to the current month's view.

Could the alarm somehow be triggering the calendar?

Pretty sure I saw another post regarding this. AFAIR the calendar app starts automatically (at 4AM?) if you have enabled "delete old messages in calendar". Basically calendar starts to do the cleanup and doesn't shut down.

+1 exactly at 4am daily... though it doesn't bother me i find it odd...

now, what bothers me, and i've no idea if it is only me, is the fact that sometimes birthdays and appointments switch dates by themselves for one day... (but all of them at the same time, birthdays, holidays, appointments, etc.)... that IS annoying... :confused:
