[Announce] "Birthday" application in extras-testing

1 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,

I was lazy to calculate how old my friends are and how many days I have to buy a gift for them. So, I wrote a simple application called "Birthday" for doing this job instead of calculating this on my fingers :D.

If someone is interested in translating of it, you can do it as usual using transifex.

BTW: It's was inspired by "Best Birthday" for S60, that I used on my old E66.

The number of days calculation seems either wrong or very non-intuitive to me. Given that today's the 19th, a birthday on the 23rd is apparently 3 days away (whereas I'd normally say 4 days). Is that the way it's meant to work, or is this a bug?

"Only three shopping days remaining!"

I can still go shopping today :p

And I'd better, otherwise the card won't make it in time :o

I will checked that. It's possible, that in conversion from seconds to days is rounding result down. Thanks

at first...thank you for the app!
But I've got a problem with the results.
There are some contacts shown with the first name
und some with first AND family name.
I customized them in the same way...I'm sure!
IT WOULD BE VERY NICE, SOMEONE HAS AN IDEA :)

@rmoravcik
I sorely miss the ability to add birthdays for people not in my contacts.Do you think its possible to implement the ability to add birthdays to calendar using your app and also set alarms for them please?
