[Maemo 5] Is Fring Compatible with N900??
 

Anyone please tell me that is fring compatible with N900. I didnt see N900 in the list of mobile phones at Fring Web? If yes then which one to be downloaded??

Just a question: Curious as to why Fring would even have a point on the N900? Telepathy plugins mean that you have integrated voip and IM for the protocols that I believe Fring addresses. Am I missing something here?

hi even though i have not personally tried it myself i do believe that fring on the n900 has enabled skype video calls...i stand corrected as i havent used fring on the n900 but it is available in extras testing/devel. (ps fring on symbian devices n97 for example definitely have skype video calls)

Well the new updated N900 manual shows that they will be internet video calling in the next major update.

IIRC the N900 supports video calls if the other person(with a computer/whatever) initializes a video call.
