Processing on the N900
Hi,
Last week I read Jayesh Salvi's post about Processing on mobile devices, but input methods within N900 browsers (MicroB, Firefox, Tear, Midori) didn't seem to work correctly. So I wrote a little PySide application that just opens up a QWebView with the URL of the Processing website, and it is possible to use MouseClicked and MouseDragged events there. So touch is now a working input method for Processing. A german post about this is here: http://mobileqt.de/blogposts/27 For those who don't understand German: there is a demo video and code on the website :-). I like this idea to have a Processing environment in the browser on every mobile device, if only for rapid prototyping of GUIs. |
