I know this has been mentioned in a couple of threads but, despite the early and (reportedly) unoptimized build shown here, development seems pretty active and KDE's flexible frameworks may provide a compelling alternative in the future for mobile tablets.

I don't know yet, but found other post about porting widgets from plasma on desktop
