wimax on n900 usin usb dongle
 

hi friends
I havde recently purchased wateens wimax usb pocket dongle.. just thought if its possible to port the dongle to use wimax on n900??.. i m no coder.. but loves to try.. Do nybuddy support the idea :)..

N900 does not support using the USB connector in 'host' mode so this will not be possible.

before i buy my n900 i heard from other forums that's the n900 support wimax connection without dongle might be receive the signals with your password and user name but it seems not
maybe some application my solve it

but is there any way to forward internet connection from my pc to my n900 using usb cable or anything else

Wimax is an entirely different technology, it's not software. Thus a simple application can NOT solve your problem.

I am not aware of that being possible, atleast in any easy way. It'd be alot easier to just buy a WLAN router and attach it to your network.

i understand clearly now

but i figure out a simple application called Connectify-me its very simple and i can connect to my laptop internet so easely ;)

USB hostmode is in fact possible on N900, but you'll need external power source.

Yes u can do that i have tried and have been sucessful
you can convert ur laptop into an wifi router and is simple
just go into my connection and create connection there is an option using wifi hit that and follow it and done
now search on ur n900 or any other mobile or laptop u will find wifi connection
connect and enjoy
