Not sure if this has been posted before but it gave me the courage to take off my protective case. :) I feel so much cooler now!

Actually, the screen feels MUCH better without a protector. I tried one (it lasted a week), but it gathered more scratches and grease than the screen could by itself... so I took it off, and managed without any damage.

It seems you can only scratch the screen on purpose. (And putting your keys in the same pocket as the N900 counts as "on purpose", too...)

You can do so without abusing the device and by accident. I took a lot of time to treat my device with care prior to the screen protector arriving and still managed to gain a small mark. The screen is supposed to be reasonably resilient but I think the claim of 'unbreakable' is way over the top. I would also sugges that in light of several people's experience that only being able to scratch the screen on purpose (yes I take your point about a seperate pocket) is a touch wishful thinking. Yes, it isn't as fragile as some might think but still not as hardy as it might be.
