Application Manager Problems
I haven't updated anything on my N800 (Maemo 4) for a while. Now I come to do it, I am having problems with the Application Manager.
At first it was OK, but I then got an out-of-memory message. Since then, I can't start it without getting Operation Failed. The log says: Quote:
What/where should I delete? |

Then if your browser has such a setting you could try clearing browsing history, etc. Do you have any apps storing data in the device's main memory rather than on a memory card? If so, can you move the data? I'm thinking e-mails & media files mainly. Hopefully that should get you enough space to work the Application Manager again. There, you can sort your apps by size and delete those you don't need. |

Re: Application Manager Problems
I found a couple of unneccessary files that could be deleted and got the usage back to 93% and application manager now works.
Time to tidy up methinks! Thanks. |
