Isn't the n900 secure?
At my hostel, both cell phones and laps are banned - which is why i use the n900 as my all in one device. Besides its easier to hide it this way.
But today morning my warden caught the n900 when i absent mindedly left it on my table and went for breakfast. But i had locked the device and that was kind of a relief for me cuz this guy had a history of trying to crack caught mobile devices with a help of a professor from coll and check out the data within.
I got back the phone by evening after paying a fine, and what shocked me was that the phone was unlocked. Now how did he manage that? I though the n900 was secure being linux and all ... The only good that came out of this is that he accidentally clicked the record button (recaller) and i got a 30 min clip which helped me find out who the cracker professor was. But does anyone here know how he did it so that i can make sure it doesnt happen again if they get their hands on my device again.
