MicroB and mobile version of a web page
Hi all, [talking about N900 btw.]
I just was annoyed by the fact that www.handelsblatt.com was always loaded with the mobile version (http://mobil.handelsblatt.com/ - who needs mobile versions -.-?) and not the full version. So I created a user.js in /home/user/.mozilla/microb with the content user_pref("general.useragent.vendor", ""); It does the trick. But is there another way? Or a better way or a safer way (I guess its pretty safe though)? Or did anyone else had that problem yet? All other pages I visited since Nov09 are loading just as expected (or I didn't noticed, that it was the mobile version :D) the PC version of the web page. Btw. this is why I love the N900 - you can change fix everything ;). |
