I am trying to make my first call with skype but ???
 

I trying to make a call on skype and the N900 is telling me availability must be online to perform this action.. can someone help me out here on how to set it up or what to do ?? thanx

Have you configured skype in Settings -> VoIP & IM Accounts ? Once you've added an IM service, you should see Availability in Status Menu (where clock, profile, bluetooth etc are). Click on Availability to change it to Online and press Save.

u gotta be online....u know where the date, profile & aavailability is u gotat press availabilty and go online. and then make a call.
