N900 as PC camera
 

Can we use the N900 as a camera for live feed on a pc.

I wasnt to be able to veiw on the screen what the camera see's not neciserially a webcam but somthing similar, ideally wirelessly?

It streams over a network, works very well.

I did ind that however it was all gobildegook to me, im relativly new to linux. would you please help me through?

if that is the case seems like i shudve gone for the HTC desire. Dunno why n900 didnt get a better spot :( iphone still came in 2nd, that sucks!
Majority of the handsets that got good rating were htc.
Im guessing these reviewers dont know jack about much and they just make anything look good they favour.
