Xterm and the '|' character

Hi,

As a follow on to the Esc key thread, would anyone know what the secret incantation is for entering the '|' (pipe) character in the osso xterm?

I've looked at adding a user defined custom key but can't seem to find the correct key code for it.

Thanks.

its on the keyboard, special characters (&!e), symbols, look its there

No magic incantation needed ;)

Thanks but I must be missing something. All I see is the '!' character in the upper right of the keyboard - no sign of the '|' pipe character anywhere.

-edit: my bad, I see it at the 'symbols' tab. will give that a try.

Its on the big keyboard. Hit the square button to switch

Also, the pipe is available on the main keyboard (i.e. without using the "&!e" button) depending on your keyboard language setting. The "English (UK)" keyboard has the pipe (shift-!); the "English (US)" keyboard does not.
