Network Printing? (n900)
Any way to print from the n900
example: I used my n900 to check into a flight while in my living room, can I print my itinerary now? |
Re: Network Printing? (n900)
If you have a Cups (Linux) print server you may be able to use Easy Debian to do so. I have read reports from some that have done so. Not sure of the details though.

Re: Network Printing? (n900)
As Rapparee was asking, is there a solution for windows users?
My situation right now is that I've got my printer connected to the wifi, and would like to print directly from the n900. |
Re: Network Printing? (n900)
Theoretically it is possible by porting CUPS to armel. However since no current Fremantle applications have a Print function it's not going to "Just Work" in a simple manner.

Re: Network Printing? (n900)
But CUPS is available through easy debian. The porting will ofc make the printing integrated in maemo, but again, how do you configure a windows network printer on CUPS? Isnt it only for linux?

Edit: I was wrong. Samba is indeed ported. |
