Network Printing? (n900)

Any way to print from the n900

example: I used my n900 to check into a flight while in my living room, can I print my itinerary now?

If you have a Cups (Linux) print server you may be able to use Easy Debian to do so. I have read reports from some that have done so. Not sure of the details though.

As Rapparee was asking, is there a solution for windows users?
My situation right now is that I've got my printer connected to the wifi, and would like to print directly from the n900.

Theoretically it is possible by porting CUPS to armel. However since no current Fremantle applications have a Print function it's not going to "Just Work" in a simple manner.

But CUPS is available through easy debian. The porting will ofc make the printing integrated in maemo, but again, how do you configure a windows network printer on CUPS? Isnt it only for linux?

atleast, it will be possible to print from xterm. That will be a huge step forward by itself.

this requires samba and I dont see that ported to maemo.

Edit: I was wrong. Samba is indeed ported.
