Any suggestions on how we can have an app which counts how many times the conversation icon is clicked or summit so i can tell if the misses is checking my messages :P

Should be a simple app really?

And could probably used for gathering statistics letting us know which buttons we click most often on our N900 so that we can arrange our homescreen accordingly

i'd suggest having a chat with your girlfriend.... seems like a trust issue going on ;)

In my case it will be my little brother trying to get some info on me to get me in trouble with my dear parents :P

just edit the .desktop file and learn how to access conversations via xterm....

The simplest thing would be to create a shell script that echoes current date to the end of a text file, then opens the conversations app. Then change the .desktop of sms app to point to that.

However, social engineering is much more fun way to find out if your messages are being read. Plant some carefully selected misinformation in your SMS, and see if you can make her do something funny she's not supposed to do unless she's seen your messages...

Lock up your phone. If she really wants to read your messages she'll ask why do you have to lock your phone do you have something to hide why why do have someone else don't you love am i not enough for you...

But I have to say I really like juise-s social engineering idea!

Or you could run an app called "keep it in your pocket" or "oi ***** NO"
