Keyboard light

Hi I am having some problems with my keyboard light.....

I tested the light sensor during a phone call. its working fine...

Is there a way to test the keyboard light??
It works when there is no light at all ( if i almost cover the sensor), the light comes on on the keyboard..

if theres a little bit of light (even the screen reflection), the keyboard will switch off.....:(

anything i can tweak?

Are you sure you tested the light sensor during the call? It's the proximity sensor that is active during the call and turns the screen on and off. The light sensor is slower in response generally, and indeed if there is even one light that is looking down the phone, the keyboard light turns off.

the one next to the front camera?? because the screen turns off every time i place the phone near my ear during a call... i tried to cover it during a call and the screen went off....

I tried the same thing with the keyboard.. when I cover the same sensor completely, the light comes on for a while....

they are two different sensors, one next to the other besides the front camera, with different behaviour. The one that turns the screen off in call is the proximity sensor, while the one that defines screen brightness and keyboard light on-off is the light sensor.
