Bittorrent for Canola Question
Can anyone tell me how to properly set up the bittorrent plugin for canola? I open it and go to search something on pirate bay and it's no torrents found. Do I have to enter something in the transmission hosts in the settings? If so, what do I put?

Re: Bittorrent for Canola Question
I read the entire page, and still no luck. I sent the developer an email...hopefully that will solve it. Does it matter that Im running it on an N810?

Re: Bittorrent for Canola Question
I use transmission. Works great, but slows the rest of the phone right down.

Re: Bittorrent for Canola Question
transmission is fine...as in it works, but I hate the tiny cluttered interface. I got a torrent to start downloading in the canola plugin from a "legal torrents" feed thats included, but nothing turns up when I search pirate bay

Legal Smeegal, I get all my stuff off good old Pirate Bay.

Re: Bittorrent for Canola Question
Hello,
sorry for the very-very late answer. I don't know the status of this plugin on N810 at the moment since I don't have a N810 anymore. Once Canola gets ported to N900 I can take another look. If the search funcitonality doesnt work this usually means that the web page used to scrape the search results has changed. This is very probable with Pirate bay. If you're familiar with Python you could look into the search engine files included in the plugin. |
