Question Regarding Bluetooth...
Hi guys,
This is one of my first posts, although I have been using this site as the font of all knowledge, since I bought my n900 in Jan this year. I got knocked off my motorbike last weekend, while sat waiting at a red light, by a 76 year old woman and I'm currently stuck with a broken leg.... My problem is this. Where I live, I can only get mobile phone signal in one place on my window sill. As I'm spending so much of my day in bed at the moment, I was wondering if there is any way I could have my n900 sat on the window sill receiving signal, and use my old N95 to remotely control it over bluetooth. (Or vice versa). This would save me a lot of getting up and down! I must stress that both of these phones belong to me, as when I tried to 'Google' the subject, all I got was some unpleasant pages about Bluetooth hacking, which I am not interested in. Thanks for your help guys. Andy. |
Re: Question Regarding Bluetooth...
Sorry to hear about your accident. I broke my leg and ankle last year so I sympathize with you. If I read you correctly, you want to turn your n900 into a bluetooth access point. This may be possible using bluetooth DUN but your n95 must support something smilar I dont know the n95.You might like to check this out for starters: http://www.osnews.com/story/9836

Re: Question Regarding Bluetooth...
Thanks for the reply,
I'm not sure if I was 100% clear in my first post. Basically, I want to be able to use my phone (which is on the window sill) remotely from my bed, using another handset. I have two handsets I can use... my n900 and my old N95. I'm not bothered which one is sat on the window sill, I would just really like to be able to communicate with the outside world without having to hobble over there every time I get a text! Thanks again. |
