Just bloody accidental broke my screen
 

Just got back from playing pool, took n900 at ma pocket only to find a line through the bloody screen!!!

so wot do i do!
1. use my insurance through the bank,
2. order screen and do it my self
3. any ideas?

You shouldn't do it yourself, too easy to break ...
Do you live in USA? If so, then the best would be to make it repaired from Nokia, which will be kinda expensive (+-100-150$) but the best way to get this done.
If it can't be repaired from Nokia, buy another screen from ebay or something like that and make it repaired by an electronic professionnal

i live in the UK... i can do it my self i repair laptops for a living :) but want it done quick... insurance way wud take ages, but will phone them 2moz to find out... there is a Nokia Service center bout 20miles from me so mmm, i can get a screen for £45

You should repair it yourself then ... Must be easy to do for someone who can repair laptops...
I don't know how insurances work in the UK, but here in Canada I wouldn't pass a 600$ device on insurances, because the insurance itself will cost much more if I use it too much...

no probs dude, me english and i have trouble sometimes lol, just ordered the screen... will have to use my n96 till i get it sort although n900 is still usable

I'd still be rocking the N900. It's a battle scar and simply adds character. Right?

Brutal!

It probably still runs better than an iPhone.

Another note, if you do the screen replacement yourself you could write a DIY guide for replacing the screens to the benefit of the N900 community. Just a thought.
