[Proposal pending]citrix nirvana phone

hi, ive seen this on youtube and am amazed by it, i would LOVE if this app came to the n900.... its pretty much a remote desktop connection to your pc and it uses tv out to a monitor or tv to display the desktop and then turns the screen into a touchpad (like a laptop) and then you can use a bluetooth keyboard and voila! take your desktop anywhere with you as long as u have a keyboard and screen..... i know we have remote desktop on the n900 but i like the whole touchpad idea more than having to click on tiny buttons on the screen on the n900......

heres a video of the nirvana phone in action
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVcAajvMMYk
P.S. the phone is a regular phone, it runs windows mobile..... so im sure this can be ported to linux.... but who am i to say, im not into the programming scene...... but i know linux is way better than windows due to it being completely open :)

Your solution:

1. Remote Control - Set up VNC server and viewer (available in extras)
2. TV Out - Use the cable supplied
3. N900 Touchpad - Connect your phone to your computer via bluetooth and use the Mouse function of BlueMaemo (still in extras-devel at the moment, so be wary of crashes, and instability that could somehow result in bricking the phone).
4. Bluetooth Keyboard - Self-explanatory.

There you have your "Nirvana Phone."

EDIT: Actually, BlueMaemo and VNC are both fullscreen, so I actually don't know how that would work out. :\

EDIT2: In order to port an application, it's source code needs to be opened, (which they usually aren't, in the Windows world). Otherwise, it would be called cloning an application.

EDIT3: (I really need to proofread...) Maemo is not completely open: There are some proprietary parts to the operating system, so say, if you tried to install Maemo on another unsupported device, it would not work.

right now i use rdesktop and i love it! the only problem is that i want to use a mouse or use the n900 as a touchpad..... and i understand bluemaemo can be used as a touchpad but it is only over bluetooth.... i want to do this over the internet.... and maybe if bluemaemo touchpad was a see-through application so its like a clear program over the rdesktop so the desktop is seen on the tv out, but i guess this all has to be implimented on rdesktop as options.... would be great though...

Please set up a proper brainstorm, this is just another "look at this" thread atm, at least to me.
