Help with water damaged N900 !
 

My lovely N900 just got water damage 2 days ago.and it was totally off now even though i followed Water Damage Solution on Youtube
When i plugged in to charge with battery there was no led light at all,but when i took battery out,there was a constant yellow led light..
I just wanna ask if there was any solutions to get back my contact in the phone??There is some really important contacts in my phone :mad:

i thinked abt it but i dun think its about battery,aniway ill have a try tmr

did you try and power on while it was still wet?? if you did then iam afraid chances are its dead

break down phone as far as you can , put bits in a bag full of rice , leave to dry for a few days , reasemble parts , hope for the best

any powering on while wet could be really bad

hope you get it sorted buddy

dont know where you are but there are places like this in the uk that can sometimes help for a small charge

isopropanol + ultrasoundcleaner + reflash = sometimes it does wonders

I saw a video on youtube about using the rice method to dry out a phone. Give it a try and leave if for a few days.

I always try rice then the oven method (basically evaporating the water out).
